He told us he has several favorite tattoo artists, and has "so much respect and admiration for what they're able to create." One such influence is Volko Merschky of the Buena Vista Tattoo Society in Würzburg, Germany.

We also asked Giulio if he has a favorite tattoo that he designed. He says, "For its international exposure and visibility I've got to say the one made for the Justin Vernon competition at 99designs." His sentimental favorite, all the same, is the beginning one he made for his best friend — "when I was younger and unknown!"
